This wood paneled room is hidden behind the altar. Is it a choir or a chapter house? Around three sides are seats built into the paneling with a stand in front of every seat to hold…music? Books?
The organ was built in 1859 by Carlo Carletti di Fabriano, Opus 16, and is in working order.
The oratory chapel has been lovingly restored with intricate Baroque trompe-l’oeil frescoes and patterned terra cottta floors.
Rudy the mini poodle invites you to come in and tour the chapel, which was consecrated in 1219.
